I am a nature and animal photographer based in Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Staffordshire. I was introduced to photography when I started studying art at college where I was taught the basics of the black and white darkroom. I then went on to study photography at university and developed a thorough understanding of photographic practice with the objective of becoming a professional photographer.

My work stems from a strong passion for the natural world and an intrigue with photographing captive animals. I aim to make photographs that portray the beauty and spirit of wildlife and zoo subjects. I hope for the opportunity to travel to exotic natural habitats to further my photographic career and life experiences.

I use a Canon EOS 40D with a range of canon and sigma lenses. I also have versatile experience in using 35mm, medium and large format film cameras.
